This week we will be joined by Terwilliger Plaza Member and speaker Dr. Giles Burgess. Dr. Burgess will speak on The Economy and Society: Impacts of Technology from 1900 to Today. Dr. Burgess worked as a research analyst for two different state agencies and as a regional economist for the Economic Research Service of the USDA before working for 29 years as a professor of Economics at Portland State University.
