Will Carpenter

Will grew up in Salem, met his wife at Willamette University, and went to graduate school at SUNY Buffalo, where he earned an M.S. in Social Psychology.  He spent the last 16 years of his career as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Oregon Department of Housing and Community Services.  As CIO, his responsibilities included all formation technology – networks, data bases, application development, servers, telephones, and the Help Desk.  He was a member of the department’s Executive Steering Committee and the Finance Committee.

He is very active in committees and activities around Terwilliger Plaza, including the Resident Council and the Governance Committee.
