Located in downtown Portland, Oregon, Terwilliger Plaza is proud to be a one-of-a-kind, self governed, not for profit continuing care retirement community. Our familiar building on the hill overlooking Duniway Park has been a part of the Portland skyline since 1962.

The Tower, our original 12-story community, has been beautifully renovated. Additionally, in the last five years we have added the Terrace, with 44 enhanced Assisted Living apartments, a parking garage, restaurant style dining room with optional meal program, a large auditorium, fitness and wellness center, deli/grocery store, salon, woodshop, rooftop garden and more! The newest addition to our retirement community, The Heights, is now available for reservations. The newest building will add 48 two-bedroom apartments, an exercise pool, therapy pool, fitness room, bistro, and a lounge.
